Cumhuriyet International Journal of Education

The Cumhuriyet International Journal of Education (CIJE) is an open-access, peer-reviewed international journal that has been publishing quantitative and qualitative studies in the field of education and teacher training since 2011. CIJE publishes articles under a continuous publication model, meaning that accepted manuscripts are made available online without waiting for the next issue. Before submitting your manuscript, please carefully read the “Aims & Scope” section on the journal homepage.

1. Language of Publication

CIJE publishes articles in both Turkish and English.

• Manuscripts must be submitted first in Turkish.
• Accepted manuscripts must also be provided in full English.
• Authors may be requested to provide a proofreading certificate for the English version if needed.
• Manuscripts with language issues will be returned to the authors.

2. Ethics Approval

All submitted manuscripts must have Ethics Committee Approval.

• Manuscripts without ethics approval will not be considered for review.
• If ethics approval is not required, a Statement Form confirming that ethical permission is not needed must be uploaded.
• The study title must match the name of the ethics committee; otherwise, approval will be invalid.

3. Manuscript Templates

Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the journal’s official manuscript templates available on the journal homepage. Authors are kindly requested to follow the templates carefully when submitting their manuscripts.

4. Anonymity

Submitted manuscripts must not include any author names, affiliations, or identifying information in the main text file.

5. Manuscript Metadata

Metadata entry is crucial when submitting manuscripts via DergiPark.

• Authors must enter the abstracts, keywords, and references for both Turkish and English versions completely and accurately at the beginning of the submission.

6. Signed Documents

All signed documents submitted to the journal must be manually signed, scanned, and uploaded in PDF format.

• Digital signatures or image attachments without manual signing will not be accepted under any circumstances.

7. File Format

• The full manuscript must be uploaded in Word format,
• While all other supporting documents must be uploaded in PDF format.
