İlköğretim Matematik Öğretmen Adaylarının İstatistik ve Veri Analizi Alanında Video Temelli Fark Etmeyi Öğrenme Süreçlerinin İncelenmesi

Öz

Bu araştırma matematik öğretmen adaylarının istatistik ve veri analizi video durum dersleri gözlemlerine dayalı olarak öğrenme ve öğretme uygulamaları açısından neleri ve nasıl fark ettiklerini tespit etmeyi amaçlamıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmış olup veriler 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılında İstatistik ve Olasılık Öğretimi dersi kapsamında 12 matematik öğretmen adayından toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri matematik öğretmen adaylarının iki farklı zamanda istatistik ve veri analizine dair izlediği 3 videoya ilişkin yazdıkları iki farklı video durum analiz raporları aracılığı ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmada veriler Fark Etmeyi Öğrenme teorik çerçevesi uyarlanarak elde edilen dört düzeye (Bilgilendiren, Ortaya Çıkaran, Geliştiren, Üreten) göre incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda matematik öğretmen adaylarının en çok fark ettiği tema öğretim ile öğrenme ortamları ve katılım; en az fark ettikleri ise problem durumu/ görev/etkinlik ile öğrenme temaları olmuştur. Aynı zamanda öğretmen adaylarının fark etme seviyeleri incelendiğinde öğretmen adaylarının en çok bilgilendiren (Düzey 1) düzeyini kullandıkları, en az ise üreten (Düzey 4) düzeyini kullandıkları gözlemlenmiştir. Buna ek olarak, analiz raporları incelendiğinde öğrenme teması dışında her temada üreten düzeyinde fark etmeye yönelik yorumlarda azalış gözlemlenmiştir.
