Algılanan Ebeveyn İlişkisi Ölçeğinin Geliştirilmesi Ve Psikometrik Özelliklerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı Algılanan Ebeveyn İlişkisi Ölçeği’nin anne ve baba formunu geliştirmek ve psikometrik özelliklerini belirlemektir. Ölçeğin geçerlik ve güvenirlik analizlerinin yapıldığı veriler 122’si (%58) kadın, 87’si (%42) erkek olmak üzere 209 evli bireyden toplanmıştır. Ölçeğin geçerliği kapsam ve yapı geçerliği teknikleri ile incelenmiştir. Yapı geçerliği için yapılan AFA sonucu ölçeğin anne formunun toplam varyansın % 60.77’sini açıkladığı baba formunun da toplam varyansın %60.07’sini açıkladığı bulunmuştur. Ayrıca faktör analizi sonucu ölçeğin hem anne hem de baba formunun 37 madde ve 5 faktörden (otoriter, ilgisiz, koruyucu, demokratik ve bağımlı) oluştuğu tespit edilmiştir. Ölçeğin hem anne hem de baba formuna ait faktör yükleri incelendiğinde maddelerin faktör yüklerinin anne formunda .56 ile .89 arasında sıralandığı ve baba formunda .53 ile .82 arasında sıralandığı görülmektedir. Ölçeğin anne formuna ait faktörlerinin (otoriter= .80, ilgisiz= 88, koruyucu= .83, demokratik= .95 ve bağımlı= .88) ve baba) ve baba formuna ait faktörlerinin (otoriter= .73, ilgisiz= 89, koruyucu= .81, demokratik= .95 ve bağımlı= .86) iç tutarlılık katsayıları ölçeğin geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek olduğuna işaret etmektedir. Baba formuna yönelik Madde analizi için hesaplanan düzeltilmiş madde toplam korelasyonlarının da baba formunda .47 ile .82 arasında sıralandığı ve anne formunda da .47 ile .86 arasında sıralandığı bulunmuştur. Bu sonuçlar dikkate alındığında ilk defa bu araştırma ile geliştirilen Ebeveyn İlişki Tutumu Algısı Ölçeğinin evlilik ve aile danışmanlığı alanında yapılacak olan araştırmalarda kullanılabilecek, geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğu düşünülebilir.

Development of Perceived Parental Relationship Scale and Its Psychometric Properties

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to further develop the Perceived Parental
Relationship Behavior Scale and to assess its validity and reliability. This
research involves 209 married couples. The results of the Exploratory Factor
Analysis showed that this scale explains 60.77% of the total variance of the
mother figure while 60.77% of the total variance of the father figure.
Nevertheless, the results of the factor analysis also revealed that both mother
and father figures of the scale consist of 37 items and 5 factors (authoritarian,
neglectful, protective, democratic, and dependent) each. When the factor
loadings of the scale for both mother and father were assessed it was found
that factor loadings of the items were in the range of .56 and .89 for the
mother figure while they were in the range of .53 and .83 for the father
figure. The coefficient of internal consistency for mother figure
(authoritarian = .80, neglectful = .88, protective = .83, democratic = .95, and
dependent = .88) and father figure (authoritarian = .73, neglectful = .89,
protective = .81, democratic = .95, and dependent = .86) shows that the scale
is a reliable measuring tool. It was also found that the adjusted total item
correlations calculated for item analysis of father figure were in the range
between .47 and .82 while the adjusted total item correlations calculated for
item analysis of father figure were in a range between .47 and .86.In the light
of these findings it can be said that the Perceived Parental Relationship
Behavior Scale which is developed for the first time with this study is a valid
and reliable scale to be used in the psychology field.
