The main purpose of SEBED is to provide beneficial results for humanity by contributing to the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge. Accordingly, especially in the field of educational sciences, it aims to improve the educational processes at all levels of compulsory education, higher education and non-formal education, to enable researchers to publish scientific information obtained by their scientific studies free of charge, within the scope of open access policy and in accordance with the scientific method, and to enable all stakeholders of the educational process to follow educational scientific developments in their own language without paying any fee in order to support their development.

SEBED includes publications based on theoretical and applied academic studies on educational sciences, primary education, secondary education and higher education field education and special education, as well as current issues and problems in education, and original, qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods research and review studies (meta-synthesis, systematic review, etc.) in different fields of Teacher Education. Studies that do not comply with this scope will not be included in the evaluation process. In addition, articles should describe original data that have not been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
