Öz
Structures that are formed by people who come together to accomplish some goals are called organizations. Every organization has different structures according to its establishment goals. Basic concepts, models and formations of these structures were examined and these were associated with schools which are educational organizations. Since the organizational structure of an individual school may vary according to its particular conditions, it may be more logical to understand it using theoretical models rather than generalizing the organizational structure of schools. From this point of view, contextual and structural dimensions of the organizational structure of schools, bureaucratic models of Weber and Hall, school structure models of Hoy, Miskel and Sweetland, the organizational structure model of Mintzberg, the mechanical and organic organization models, the loose structure model, the compliance theory of Etzioni were elaborated and the formation of the organizational structure was examined.

Öz
İnsanların bazı amaçları gerçekleştirmek amacıyla bir araya gelerek oluşturdukları yapılara örgüt denmektedir. Her örgüt kuruluş amacına göre farklı yapılara sahiptir. Bu yapılar ile ilgili temel kavramlar, modeller ve yapıların oluşumları incelenmiş ve bunlar eğitim örgütleri olan okullarla ilişkilendirilmiştir. Her okulun örgüt yapısı bulunduğu şartlara göre farklılık gösterebileceğinden bu yapıyı genellemektense kuramsal modellerle anlamaya çalışmak daha mantıklı olabilir. Bu doğrultuda okul yapısının bağlamsal ve yapısal boyutları, Weber’in ve Hall’un bürokratik modelleri, Hoy, Miskel ve Sweetland’ın okul yapısı modelleri, Mintzberg’in örgütsel yapı modeli, mekanik ve organik örgüt modelleri, gevşek yapı modeli, Etzioni’nin uyum teorisi ele alınmış ve örgüt yapısının oluşturulması incelenmiştir.
