Gece Çalışanlarda Denge Performanslarının Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Uyku ve ritminin bozulması birçok fizyolojik ve fonksiyonel problemlere neden olmaktadır. Uygun zamanlanmamış uykunun bireylerdeki denge performansları üzerine etkisinin değerlendirildiği çalışmalar ise literatürde sınırlı sayıda gözlenmiştir. Bu nedenle gece çalışan bireylerin denge performanslarının değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya, 63’ü (Ort. Yaş= 34,25± 9,36) gece, 32’si (Ort. Yaş= 32,75± 8,39) ise gündüz çalışan 95 birey dahil edilmiştir. Değerlendirme formu ile düşük performansa neden olabilecek risk faktörleri sorgulanmış, Dizziness Engellilik Ölçeği (DEÖ) uygulanmış ve dahil edilme kriterlerine uygun olan bireyler; Zamanlı Kalk Yürü (ZKY), 30 Saniye Otur Kalk (30snOK) ve Fonksiyonel Uzanma Testleri (FUT) ile değerlendirilmiştir.
Bulgular: İkili karşılaştırmalar sonucunda gece çalışanlarda ZKY testinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı zayıflık (p<0,01) bulunmuştur. FUT ve 30snOK testlerinde ise gruplar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık bulunmamıştır (p>0,01).
Sonuç: Gündüz çalışanlarla karşılaştırıldığında aynı iş yükünde gece çalışanların, daha düşük performans gösterdikleri belirlenmiştir. Bununla beraber gruplar arasında sabit pozisyonda antero-posterior stabilite ve performanlarında anlamlı farklılık elde edilmemiştir. Daha uzun sürelerde gece çalışmasına maruz kalmış bireylerde çalışma sonuçlarının genişletilmesi önerilmiştir.
