Fen Bilimleri Dersinde Kuş Eğitiminin Başarı ve Çevreye Yönelik Tutuma Etkisi

Abstract



Bu çalışmanın amacı, fen bilimleri dersinde kuş eğitiminin
öğrencilerin başarısına ve çevreye yönelik tutumuna olan etkisini incelemektir.
Araştırmada ön test son test gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Deney
grubuna mevcut fen bilimleri dersi programı ve kuş eğitim programı, kontrol
grubuna sadece mevcut fen bilimleri dersi programı uygulanmıştır. Çalışma
grubunu, devlet okulunda öğrenim görmekte olan 32 kişilik deney grubu, 31
kişilik kontrol grubu olmak üzere 63 kişilik öğrenci grubundan oluşmaktadır.
Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak akademik başarı için çevre bilgi testi ve
çevreye yönelik tutum ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi bağımsız ve
bağımlı örnekler için t-testi ile yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda kuş eğitiminin
öğrencilerin akademik başarısını olumlu yönde etkilediği belirlenmiştir.  Buna ilaveten, öğrencilerin çevreye yönelik
tutumunda bir artış olsa bile bu artışın istatiksel olarak anlamlı olmadığı
tespit edilmiştir.
